What We Collect

Price is Correct collects only the minimum data needed to run the game and leaderboard:

• Username and country — voluntarily provided when you create an account. Used only to display you on the leaderboard.
• Game scores and guesses — recorded after each game to calculate leaderboard rankings.
• Date of play — used to assign scores to the correct daily puzzle.

We do not collect email addresses, passwords, payment information, or any personally identifying information beyond the optional username you choose.

How We Use It

Score data is used exclusively to:

• Display daily and weekly leaderboards
• Calculate your rank among other players
• Track weekly Hall of Fame winners

We do not sell, share, or use your data for advertising or any purpose outside of the game itself.

Local Storage

The game stores your daily progress, streak, and account name in your browser's local storage. This data stays on your device. Clearing your browser's local storage will reset your streak and progress.

Anonymous Play

You can play without creating an account. Your score is still recorded anonymously (without a name) for aggregate statistics, but you will not appear on the leaderboard.

Cookies

We do not use tracking cookies. Local storage is used for game state only.

Third-Party Services

The game loads the canvas-confetti library from a CDN (jsdelivr.net) for celebration animations. No personal data is shared with this service.

Data Retention

Score records are kept indefinitely to maintain the Hall of Fame and historical leaderboards. If you wish to have your named data removed, contact us at the address below.

Children

Price is Correct is a general-audience game. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal data, please contact us.
